Dusun Kuning Waterfall, An Awesome Waterfall in Bali

Bali Waterfalls!

Have you visited the waterfalls when on holiday to Bali? Or maybe you do not know if there is waterfalls in Bali? Indeed, there are many tourists who knows if there are waterfalls in Bali. At most tourists only know Gitgit Waterfall is located not so far from the tourist area of Bedugul. Not many people know the existence of other waterfalls. Though Bali has many beautiful waterfalls scattered in various corners of the island. If we counted the numbers there are dozens. Most of waterfalls are located in the region of North Bali (Buleleng). With a hilly region and many mountains, making Buleleng has many waterfalls. However, waterfalls in Bali not only in Buleleng. There is also waterfalls in the other districts. Here are eight of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali are worth your visit when on holiday to Bali. The seventh waterfalls lying scattered in various corners of Bali. Do not forget, prepare stamina when will visit various waterfalls following, because you will pass fairly challenging terrain and had to go up and down stairs.

2. Dusun Kuning Waterfall

About 3 km south of the town of Bangli, Desa Taman Bali precisely in, there is a waterfall called Air Terjun Dusun Kuning. Named Terjun Dusun Kuning, because the location of this waterfall is located in the Dusun Kuning, Desa Taman Bali, District of Bangli, Bangli. 

This waterfall has a height of about 20 meters above the river Tukad Melangit that flows to the south. The waterfall is truly unspoiled and not widely known (except locals) because it is hidden. To achieve this, it takes effort and struggle for access to the waterfall is very difficult. From the village Umanyar, you have to walk through the rice fields to arrive at the top of the cliff, on the banks of the River Melangit.


From the cliffs, you have to walk down to reach the waterfall. Unfortunately, the road down to the waterfall is very difficult and dangerous. You have to go down the cliff by walking backwards by holding on to the roots of the trees, because the cliff standing upright 90 degrees. In addition, the road is still partly covered with grass and bushes are overgrown. No stair handrails or artificial in the cliffs. Just big balls you are capable of passing through a difficult road to reach this waterfall. Instead, you pay a visit to Air Terjun Dusun Kuning in the dry season, where the cliff / soil in the dry state. During the rainy season, the cliffs are very slippery and dangerous as prone to landslides.

Getting There
From Denpasar, use your vehicle towards Bangli. Can pass Sukawati / Gianyar or via Jalan By Pass Ida Bagus Mantra. When arriving at Bali Taman Desa (approximately 3 km before the town of Bangli), lower your rate your vehicle to look at a T-junction. Turn right and follow the road until you arrive at a T-junction, near the drinking water plant "NON MIN." Of the T-junction, turn right until the end of the road near the houses. Then you only walk, approximately 300 meters to reach Air Terjun Dusun Kuning.
