Trip to Batu Hiu Beach

About 14 Km South of Pangandaran Tours, you will discover a hill overlooking the beautiful beach below, filled with lots of natural waves to break the stones. Among these stones, there was a pretty strange shapes, shaped like a shark, and, therefore, become an attraction itself, a place called: Batu Hiu.

Stone History Of Batu Hiu

Legend has it that in the 11th century, the exiled from the Kingdom of Mataram in Central Java, led by Aki Gede and Nini Gede arrived at this location. When they come to the coast, they decided to take a rest in the camp near the Hill. Aki and Nini Gede then ordered the troops to look for food. One of the soldiers called Ki Braja Latitude, decided to search for fish on the beach and catching sharks. When Aki and Nini Gede knew about this, they told him to release the fish back into the sea. When they are removed, the sharks magically turns into a big black stone. Shark-shaped stones can still be seen to this day, distinguished by the shape of the fins are sharp, and that gave the names of popular places: Batu Hiu.

Located in the village of Ciliang, in the Regency Parigi, Batu Hiu offers views of the spectacular blue of the Indian Ocean. On top of a beautiful Hill you can see huge waves rolling down and crash into the rocks make sounds jarring. The main entrance to the area is a cave in the form of large Sharks, so the head, almost looks like a shark jaw with many entering the teeth are sharp. When you come out the other end, you will find the beach where you can play a game or take a walk. There are also a number of caves in the area. The locals believe that one of these caves are connected to the city of Cirebon on Java's North Coast. one of the attractions in beautiful indonesia.
